Multi-Media Campaigns

The Gun Crime Means Hard Time multi-media campaign, which began in 1999, informs would-be criminals in Fort Worth that the local law enforcement community has made the tough prosecution of gun crime a priority. This program continues today as 1 Strike You’re Out, This Ain’t Baseball. The police and federal agencies, as well as our prosecutors, both state and federal, are making every effort to make sure that gun crime in Fort Worth is fully investigated and prosecuted.

In June 2006, the Imagine Our City Without Violence campaign was unveiled, showcasing award-winning Imagine No Violence artwork on Fort Worth buses and bus benches. The 2006 multi-media campaign also includes a direct-mail campaign to distribute practical tips to help citizens reduce gang crime in the areas of Fort Worth most affected by gang crime.

This is "Bob's Story".  The photographs used in the video spot were taken by a Southwest High School student and were part of her entry into the Imagine No Violence Contest.
